UNIVERSITY BANDs I & II

Each fall, the University Band performs one to two concerts of core wind band literature as well as new and innovative works. The mission of this fine ensemble is to expose music education majors to the finest literature for middle school, high school and college bands, and interact with professional composers and soloists. In the spring, University Band I (Blue) and University Band II (Gold) provide similar experiences for music majors and non-majors alike, while allowing conducting opportunities for graduate students. Open to all university students by audition.
