Welcome to the Orchestra page. The Kingsville Symphony Orchestra is a joint venture between the Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a board of community members that work towards the purpose of providing classical music in the orchestral medium to the community of Kingsville. The KSO is comprised of TAMUK music students as well as professional players from around South Texas and they perform four concert per year. We feature soloists from around the US as well as our own superb faculty members in these yearly performances. The students at TAMUK have a wonderful advantage playing in this group as they are able to perform with professional players from around the area and make connections with area teachers and professionals before they graduate.
