ALUMNI BAND DAY 2014

Did you perform in the "Pride of South Texas"? Then dust off your instrument and join the Javelina Marching Band in supporting our football team on Saturday, November 1 for the fourth annual Alumni Band Day! You will be able to catch up with old friends, meet fellow alumni, and see what the band is doing today.
Alumni Band Schedule
This schedule is tentative and subject to change, so check back frequently.
10:00-11:00 Play fight songs on field with band in rehearsal
12:00 Lunch on own
2:00-4:00 Alumni concert band rehearsal (and performance?) with Dr. Scott Jones
4:00-6:25 Tailgating
6:25 March over to the stadium with the band (optional)
7:00 Perform with the band in the stands
8:30 Perform Alma Mater and Jalisco with the band during halftime.

If you plan on attending there are a few things you need to know
1. There is no registration required. Just come out and have a good time.
2. Join "The Pride of South Texas" - Javelina Band Alumni page on Facebook. It is a great way to reconnect with friends before the event.
3. You must provide your own instrument. A limited number of drum line instruments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate if you need an instrument via the comments section of the registration form.
4. Music is available here. Print out the parts you need for Jalisco and Hail AMK.
5. You must purchase a ticket for the game.
6. Alumni band shirts will be passed out the day of the game! Thanks to James Spence for putting this together! You can also wear any Javelina gear you have to show your support for the band and the school!
